The Old Man,The Young Man

by C Dodrill   Dec 28, 2006

The old man ,the young man setting on the porch in spring
the old man rocks slowly contently,
contemplatively considering rain,
The oak trees up turned leafs say its close,
The young man has no time for oak trees,
He has a date shortly and is nervous he may be late,
a picnic in the park,
he hopes it doesn't rain,
