Mum

by Leanne   Dec 28, 2006

So many tears we've cried
The countless fights we fought
These things all brought us closer
Thats one lesson I was taught

You're laughter gets me smiling
You wipe away my tears
I've always been able to share with you
My deepest darkest fears

When life knocks me down
You make me stand up tall
Thats what family is there for
To catch us when we fall

But I am a girl that feels lucky
Knowing I have someone like you
Because not only are you my mum
But also a friend that is true

You really mean the world to me
If I lost you I don't know what i'd do
Just know one things for certain
My heart would break in two.
