Dear Anorexia:

Please don't leave me,
don't ever go away.
I need you in my life,
to get me through each day.

You're there to give me comfort,
you're there to ease the pain.
You're there to reassure me,
when I feel like I'm going insane.

You numb me from the emotions,
that I don't want to feel.
You're always there to turn to,
giving me a way to deal.

You give me self-control,
and provide security too.
You always make me feel safe,
and so I really need you.

You've stood by me all these years,
please don't ever go.
I don't know what I'd do without you
you're the only thing I know.
