The Cinema

by .K.i.T.t.Y.   Dec 29, 2006

The room darkens;
A gently fallen blanket,
Over the spectators;
Sudden silence.

The audience,
Mesmerized,
By the new found light,
Stare in awe.

Before the eyes,
Of each viewer,
Lie the stories of many,
From comedy to tragedy.

Motions of the screen,
Reflect the lives,
Of those from reality,
And those from imagination.

Every emotion portrayed,
Through the modern machines,
And people who perform,
With their greatest of talent.

The audience below,
Hypnotized by the scenes,
Spellbound,
By the end.
