Her Fate

by Kristin   Dec 29, 2006

Her days are blending
her lifes becoming a blurr
She falls apart more
with every insult, every slurr

She came so far
from where she was before
She had stopped her bad habbits
no cutting anymore

Her grades went up
the stress went down
She continuously smiled
instead of wearing a frown

But it was obvious to most
none of that would last

Sure enough everything was dwindling
right back to the past

Its now just a repeat
of the previous year
her old ways returning
was her biggest fear

Shes not strong enough
to make it through
She needs someone's help
but no one knows what to do

She's falling back
to her old coping ways
Its all she can do
to make it through the days

She's barely hanging on
by a single thread
no one realizes how close
she is to being dead

She's so scared of failure
but she knows its coming
Theres not much she can do
the pain is so numbing

She wants to be happy
live a normal life
No more blood gushing out
from the cuts of the knife

The scars on her arms
surely won't fade
They're just reminders of mistakes
she always made

It'll be over soon
this life that she hates
It was all meant to be
this was her fate.
