Life As We Know It

by No Need For A Name   Dec 31, 2006

Am I wide awake or is this a dream
An enchanted world is what it seems
A magical realm where rivers flow and white water gleams

Is it the truth or another lie
Don't bother answering it gleams in your eyes
No I'm not angry just a little broken inside

(Chorus)
We live are lives thinking
That this life was built for us
But love is a harsh labor
But for you it will be accomplished
We dance in the rain on some days
We seethe in the dark sometimes
Yes life is hard to think of
But the truth is it is mine

As we kill time time is killing us
No time to cry no time to lose trust
No time to do stupid acts that generate no interest

Don't run away but don't come to close
I love you my dear but an arms length at most
I'll hold you closely after to death we toast

(Chorus)
We live are lives thinking
That this life was built for us
But love is a harsh labor
But for you it will be accomplished
We dance in the rain on some days
We seethe in the dark sometimes
Yes life is hard to think of
But the truth is it is mine

God calls on me to walk through the gate
Don't worry about me it's already to late
Death is not the end it's just the beginning of a new fate

(Chorus)
We live are lives thinking
That this life was built for us
But love is a harsh labor
But for you it will be accomplished
We dance in the rain on some days
We seethe in the dark sometimes
Yes life is hard to think of
But the truth is it is mine
