A Girl

by xX Toxic Cure Xx   Jan 2, 2007

There was once a girl
Who never thought she was beautiful
Yet everyone silently worshiped her
Even though she thought she was sinful

She never thought she was anything
And everyday everyone agreed
Telling her word after word
That caused her weak skin to bleed

She sat writing poetry
About how she felt when she was sad
Even though it never worked
Everyday she felt increasing bad

She sat up at night
And before she went to sleep
She'd pray to the God she didn't believe in
And she would weep

She would put her razor to her wrist
And cry about suicide
Even though she knew she'd never do it
Because of how many times she'd tried

She loved a boy
More than her entire world
Yet everyday he broke her heart
And her insides curled

She depended on him
To make her smile
Even though she knew one day he'd leave her
She loved her strong denial

She would give up her tears
To make another love her
Yet could never find the one
As her vision would start to blur

She would cry and cry
Every night forever
Until maybe one night
Her wrist, she would really sever

She would one day give up
The things of which she dreamed
Because everything
Wasn't always as it seemed

She would one day smile at you
With her green eyes closed
As she lye in her coffin
So beautifully posed
