"She knows that he is waiting for her,
Yet she yearns for another day to play"

I can't say I know this feeling, but my grandma used to say this all the time. My grandpa was waiting for her to come to heaven and be with him. Now she's there, and I know she's happier then ever.
I can tell you miss your husband...I'm keep praying for you, I will.

Another beautiful and touching poem, Cindy. The depth of your love for your husband - and for life itself, shines through, despite your pain.

Ahh.. its soo sad.. this gave me goosebups.. but its really good.. written nicely with a good flow.. the only thing i think is an optional change is on this stanza

Yet she hangs on tightly to each new day,
Scared to let go, wanting so badly to stay.
She knows that he is waiting for her,
Yet she yearns for another day to play.

you dont need to write play it would soung nicer.. im my opinion to just end it with day.. but besides that GREAT POEM!!! i love it

I have depression for the longest time now and it hurts, i use to write poems like that and listened to them from my cusin misty B. She is a big exsprssion in my life that kept me here on earth today. I hope if you got depression to you will find it in your heart to stay strong.

It's very difficult losing a loved one to death and we feel that we'll never again find ourselves and be happy like we once were. excellent job 5/5
