Smile?

by Reggie Jay   Jan 2, 2007

With pain and destruction, how do I smile?
Though the world is cold, how is it that I laugh?
More often then not I'm living in the moment
So spare me the chat of variables in this mad math

I move along because standing gets me nowhere
Which is a place I've never known because I strive to get somewhere
So that grain of salt I take my with each day is not in vain
And since I'm alive to write this I can't complain

Can we even afford to grope on life any more?
We should be past Bush beating Gore
And why should we dwell on this War
We can talk ourselves to death
But it won't provide us with a cure

So join me in a smile
And have a laugh or two
Because if we stand here and complain
Then this world will never move
