Fire

by Purple   Jan 2, 2007

Consumed with anger
The fire burns
Spreading more ashes
The fire yearns

Wanting others
To feel the same
Its will to burn
Is impossible to tame

The burnt remains
Effected by each tiny breeze
The remains break and part
With unforgiving ease

Spread amongst the world
Memories of the flame
A spark still burns inside
A reminder of the pain

Gone inside the fire
More than objects were lost
Happiness, hope, and attachment
A survivor saddening cost

Powerful and well written. the lines:

    "Its will to burn
    Is impossible to tame"

tripped me up a bit... but that may just be my reading rather than anything actually being wrong with that area of the peice.
