Tragedy (of the unspoken)

by NeferNoir   Jan 4, 2007

50 flights up,
the wind feels like ice.
Let go the rain,
the kite will break.
Soaked.
Damped.

Cursed crown,
worn with senseless pride.
A beautiful frown,
lives in prejudice.
Broken.
Frayed.

Spectral macabre,
leaving bloody mess.
Stay pretty,
I wear my best dress.
Jaded.
Drawn.

Betroth said,
paralyze with amnesia.
The coffin laid,
macerate the corpse.
Ragged.
Wrecked.

Bite your tongue until it bleeds,
scream with me the monody.
Deplore my sleepless bed.
Tragedy.
