Dad (revised)

My sole now torn,
Why did you have to leave,
I'm left in the dark,
All this so hard to believe,

You were meant to help me in need,
And tell me how to live,
Keep me from harm.
The love you were meant to give,

I never had the chance u left so soon,
Me, mum, my sisters were away,
Not knowing your Fiat,
Or how sad you were that day.

It was too late we left you alone,
Bad thoughts that must have gone Through your head,
If only we had of understood,
All the words you had said,

I wish it wasn't so,
But i would give my life to say,
seven simple words,
"I'm going to see my dad today"......

    Six simple words,
    "I'm going to see my dad today"......

    ^ That is seven words, not six. Anyhow, this was a very heartfelt piece. Really well-written. Keep it up.
