How poetry began for me.

It began when i was feeling lonely ,
the writing of poems that is.
We had moved to a new place ,
and my family I did miss.
Face to face I'm rather shy ,
a hobby was what i needed to find.
My youngest had started playgroup ,
so i needed something to fill my mind.
I started reading but would never finish a book ,
and that is when it occured to me.
Things had happened throughout my life ,
and poetry helped set my thoughts free.
