Die a little every day

by Darkbreath   Jan 5, 2007

Every day I die a bit
Pieces of a heart crumbling
If I would com bust it would fit
My heart without you a useless thing

I die a bit every day
For you I don't mind
Though you are so far away
We are one of a kind

Every day, a little, I die
But one day I will be complete
Till then I will live my lie
In the flames which you feed.

This is great in so many ways. I can definitely relate to the emotion and situation. The rhyme is strong and words flow nicely but the emotion is what stands out, the love and loss and despair. I love the end though with both it's hope(for the future) and a bit of resignation (now).Excellent.
