Direction

One of these days, when the wind blows, you'll feel the breeze.
And one of these days, when the leaves fall, you'll see the trees.

Everyday the sun shines down on you, but you don't see the light.
You shouldn't think that just because it's dark, then it must be night.

You look through the painting, and you never see the art.
You look through my eyes and you never see my heart.

I'm not asking you to be perfect, I know that is hard to do.
I'm just waiting for the day, when you want me the way I want you.

    I love your new style, the way you use those couplets to compliment one another, and create a more solid image on the mind's eye. A poem that is seen rather than read is truly a good poem. I hope you have a few more saved up for the next time you post. It was a pleasure to read.
