Salt and Water

by Alesia   Jan 9, 2007

This liquid that falls down a delicate cheek
Something that stains a saddened face
Something that blurs the vision
and burns the open wounds.

A wet feeling of sadness overcomes.
Tear drops of sorrow pass the soul.
Streams of a form of life, leave
What is left...a lifeless body.

Evaporated into air.
Tis the Phantom of the Puddles
A moisture so pointless yet, so painful
A waterfall of emotions comes crashing.

Slowly drowning in ones own condolence
A form of salt and water with so many meaning
a bothersome trait.
