Take A Good Look At Me

This morning started off just fine,
But suddenly things changed,
All this pain came bursting out,
That i just couldn\'t contain.

All these thoughts just float around,
And haunt me all the time,
These thoughts are ones i can\'t work out,
The reasons that they make me cry.

My head was an escape route,
Until my thoughts leaked in,
Now i have to face my life,
with a highly false grin.

I absolutely hate myself,
For all that I\'ve become,
All i need is one big push,
To change my life for good.

I don\'t know what i\'m fighting for,
Or why i feel this way,
I don\'t know why i can\'t just scream,
And fight away all this pain.

I\'m stuck with all these twisted thoughts,
Of how life shouldn\'t be,
And for an example of a broken life,
Take a good look at me.

    Tgis poem is ver meaning ful and you portray it real well

    the last part made me smile tho
    [And for an example of a broken life,
    Take a good look at me. ]
    becaus eit reminds me of that "take a look at me, a penguin you shall see song"
    you prolly weren't intending that, but i liek how such a serious, sad poem can still bring people to smile...or mayb i'm just weird :S
