I wish this poison would'nt take you away,
It controls what you do,how you act, and what you say,
Sometimes I think I don't even know you,
When I cry and get mad does it give you a clue?
You act like everything is just a joke,
How does it feel when you see your alone?
It's taking you into this whole different world,
Where in reality so much is happening, unfolding,
If only you could see,
The affect your having on me,
The way you act is so violent,
Sometimes you yell and the critizism you say makes me so silent,
I love you so dearly, i do,
But this problem is drastically changing you,
It feels like I don't even know you anymore,
Please be the person that I once knew,
Start from scratch be someone new,
I love you no matter what,
And people do crazy things for love,
All that's happened has left me with nothing to say,
ALCOHOLISM is taking you away.
