Finding Yourself

by Ethan Marshall   Jan 11, 2007

Finding Yourself

Embracing what you don't know
And fearing what you've never felt
The lies of all you are begin to slowly tear
You begin to lose your hold on what you never had
And your sanity begins to slip away
Forever lost and controlled by those around you
Left without choices or thoughts of your own
When you begin to fall who will be there
Noone but yourself can free your mind from this peral
To rise above the pressure of others
And lift yourself from the ground
You're on your own until you know who you truly are
Without the grace of others, for you must do this alone
And find the truth in who you are and were you truly belong
Only then will I accept you and take you as my friend
