Your voice (Insomniac thoughts)

by VioletRaven   Jan 12, 2007

So quiet,
I hear,
A voice never absent in my heart.

A sob,
Yours or mine,
Who knows?
When words are more than meaning.

My link was never broken,
Hold tight the rope that binds me to you,
Hold my heart,
And let me hear your voice.

When night turns morn,
I shall rememeber,
To have spoken to you,
And heard your words,
My heart is filling once again,
Not empty now,
And not all full of sin,
Your voice has touched my soul,
And my friendship lives on still.
