Lord of Our Sorrows

by Tasha   Jan 12, 2007

This is it, what we've all been waiting for.
That brings us to knees, hands hit the floor.
This is our chance to show how sorry we are.
To prove our innocence, to finally heal, to scar.

We rage against the outcome and push together through.
So that all our forgiveness is laid out in front of you.
For we decided to hold in our sorrows.
Yet we didn't think of what would happen tomorrow.

Forgive us of our weaknesses, but here they are bare.
Held out to you, to forgive and forget how they are there.
You are our strength, what we all don't deserve.
You keep us safe anyways, and calm the rage of our nerves.
So here are our choices and all the mistakes we have made.
So please grab our raised hands, and take us to be saved. -

A cry from the heart That is what makes a poem so good, if it's from the heart.
