Dark Angel

by Disturbed and Under Age   Jan 13, 2007

An angel with her wings caught in a storm
Born of dispair in place of a stolen heart
Streaming sacred tears from a well of unending fears
A shining soul of innocent love
With so much to give, but all left unwanted
Dreaming of memories so long forgotten
Mortified by a life gone horribly rotten
An angel with no halo
Forever grieving her past mistakes
Watching us from above
And afraid for all our sakes
Entrapped in her own dark world
Hiding from all the others
Watching their every move
Denying that they are her brothers
They left her to die with her body beaten and battered
Her mouth sewn shut and her eyes wide open
Left with torn and tattered wings and thoughts of shattered things
