Behind my happy eyes
I want to die
All the happy words
Are just a lie

You still don't see
It's all just a blur
I don't expect it
Since its all about her

I love you
But you can't see
Every little thing
You're doing to me

You break my heart
With every step
All the promises
Were never kept

Watch my heart
Hit the floor with a thud
Just let me bleed
And leave my blood

Why should you care
I was never good enough
I was never strong
I was never tough.

Go ahead love her
I'm not in the way
I never matter
Not for a second not for a day..

    WOW! I really liked this poem. It was short and sweet. It had a lot of power and anger wrapped up in these words. My only suggestion is to take out the word "all" in the last line of your 1st stanza because you used it in the line above, so it was a bit repetitive. But I did really enjoy it! Thanks for your nice comment, too!
