One Full Day

by Mags   Jan 20, 2007

You say you know me inside out
But how can you be sure
Unless you walk one full day in my shoes

It's different then you think
And if you could only see
It wouldn't take that much to find...

That when I'm blue, you lift me up
And when I'm angry, I'll only talk to you
These things you would see...
In one full day

I'm different then I seem,
If you really wanted to know
You would finally understand
That I'm a lot like you.

But you turn the other way
And you think you understand
Though, if you really tried, you could find...

That when I'm blue, you lift me up
And when I smile, it's all for you
And when I'm sick of the world,
I always turn to you
And all this you would see...
In one full day.

I guess it's partly me
Who thinks its all this way
But I still think
I shouldn't have to say...

That when I'm blue, you lift me up
And when I smile, it's all for you,
And when I'm angry at the world,
I'll turn and talk to you...

I think you have the point,
It's amazing what you'll learn...
In one full day.
