We Believe(We're All A Saint)

We Believe:

Courage, Hope, Faith, and Prayers
Kept us to always be strong.
For all the times we said can't
And who said we will not move on.

We know in our hearts and minds
What we've obtained these past years.
We know what we've become
After all the blood, sweat and tears.

We Believe:

Even though we were into tragedy
We are still on our feet ready to fight.
For we were hit by two forces
We still have our dreams at night.

All the pain we have in our souls
Overpowers the faith in our hearts.
We wanted to give up, and loose
Because our town fell apart.

We Believe:

This is a state of courage and faith
And we will not let you bring us down.
We are not below anyone anymore
Because we have our feet on the ground.

We request our prayers to God
And we hope he listens to us cry.
Today we made history
And our passion will never die.

We Believe:

Football keeps us together
And today we saw our wraith.
Louisiana is a state of hope; courage,
And we are all a Saint.

*For the football team that let us know that we're more than what we think. They didn't let us down today, but they showed us how far we can really go with hope, courage, and prayer. Louisiana will treasure this year and can be proud of their team. The Saints will make it to that Super Bowl..One..Day. One day.

    Hm... Not really my type of Poem. But as a critique. I must Judge the poem and not the subject of the poem. The title was not so... great. its a Fair title. but not... really as "One" with the poem, I figure the "Were all a saint" really does not match. The structure was simple. I liked the structure. I love the Idea of your poem. The meaning of WHY you write your poem. Your viewpoint was seen clearly. Not Excellent. But good. Voted 4/5

    The poem itself is very encouraging and well thought out, I like the flow and the way you worded it for the most part, For a school armarter I guess you could say it was great for anythig thing else well the jury is still out Robert....
