Far from reality

by fvalconbridge   Jan 22, 2007

Summer air drifts in through his open window,
I can hear birds, in the trees, and I listen
To their love songs,

Wrapped in his arms,
In his loving embrace,
His hair, is spilled over the pillow,
Blonde silk framing his face,

My angel

And I remember, our fantasy embrace,
The dream that came a reality,
The smell, and sensations
Stronger than love,
Strong, and mutual;
Then I wake up,
I’m far from reality.
