Little Red Lines

There is this little red thing that makes the world feel perfect
Its like I stand out from everyone else i feel like a reject
It makes the hurt and pain stop, its and addiction to me
The world looks at me like I'm an outcast why cant anyone see
How these little fights cause me do much grief
This poem is just to show you how i feel so ill make it brief
I walk down these halls like i don't care what people think
But i sit down in my chair and sink
Fitting in this school is like trying to find someone to care
But you all just to judge me and just stare
I have to wear long sleeves to cover these awful scars
I feel like i have to hide something like i live behind bars
Where i live its like everyone accepts me and understands
They have a whole week about it and everyone wears wrist bands
The best part about it is they support me
Yeah they show hate but in the end we are all a big family
I want a place to be who i am and not be hurt
Where i don't have to hide behind some baggy shirt
I want to prove to people that i don't love to cut
Its just an art to me and i am definitely not a nut
I'm asking you to accept me for who i am
When you know the true me i can shine like a gem
SO i want to thank you for your cooperation
I just wanted to inform you on my self mutilation
