Fred and Jed

by Dark Kitten   Jan 22, 2007

I have a friend named Jed,
He likes to write and draw,
His favorite activity though,
Is one that takes a fall,

I use him all the time,
Whenever I need a hand,
He helped me practice kissing,
And was my accomplice in band,

My other friend's named Fred,
He's not so skilled as Jed,
He's his partner in crime,
And follows him instead,

They help me dress each day,
And read my favorite books,
They're there when I need an artist,
Or someone who knows how to cook,

They know exactly how I like,
To put on my make up,
And they are there to rub my eyes,
When I'm not ready to wake up,

They're somewhat skilled at typing,
Like synchronized dancers,
Maybe they weren't kidding,
When they said they were brothers,

They hug me when no one else is there,
And wipe away all my tears,
They're there when I need someone to listen,
To talk about my fears,

I don't know if I could have,
Survived this life without them,

So here's to them, my friends....

Hey... They even helped me write this poem!

That was such a sweet poem. It literally made me go, "Awww!"

The ending was fab. :) 5/5.
