Just What I Had Done

by Never URs   Jan 23, 2007

The suttle vibe,
shook my soul.
When he told me the truth,
about what I had done.
Because after it happened,
indeed I fled.
Not wanting to know,
just what was ahead.
And then he told me,
straight and outfront.
About what was to come,
and just how distraught.
And in just that minute,
my future changed.
Not for the better,
but in deepening pain.
The goblet of suffering,
was poured out around me.
And the challice ignited it,
full and heavy.
My face turned pale,
and my hands were ice cold.
As my guilt struck face,
hovered no gold.
Because there were new burdens,
that had to consider.
About how to cope,
and how to recover.
