He started when he was 12
addicted by 13
only wanted to be cool
to me hes still a geek

smoked 2 packs a day
by the time he reached 14
went from straight A's to D's
in the matter of 3 weeks

his breathing got weeker
as the years went by
he promised he would quit
but i knew that was a lie

got diagnosed with cancer
by the age of 21
slowy dying in the hospital
trying to survive on one lung

he died at age 23
couldnt find a donor in time
now tell me this
why would he do that to himself?
did he really want to die?
