Guardian

by Alesia   Jan 26, 2007

They say a guardian angel gives you wings when you fall, but I've fallen hit rock bottom and never herd your voice at all. I believe I needed no one else but you.

The first time you forgot I forgave.
Thinking you couldn't have known, but It kept happening. I never needed the wings of angel because I always had you, and that was good enough for me.

That day you never showed up, just gone and left. Left me in the dark, left me with a broken heart.

I don't need a guardian angel
I don't need the light.
I'll sit in a coroner and bleed my life away. I'll sit clean outa sight.

My days are dark and gray ever since you left. I went in the wrong direction. How will I know now if you're there? You disappeared into thin air. I've hit rock bottom again, this time I let it end.
