Staring Eyes

by Arunansu   Jan 27, 2007

Delicate lips
innocent eye
smiling on wings of butterfly
hovering over
the blossoms of truth
flourishing within
corruptly polluted minds
stockpiled in
a rabble of lie.

Looking intently
Through unruly strands
Are you searching for
some fragile hands
begging for humanity?
How many verses can
make you speak
with lucidity
why the sun sparkles on unsullied dew
why an infant cuddles to his mother
why a soldier becomes a martyr
why some insights within
never lie
small you may be
God loves you
for Truth alone triumphs
in a Staring Eye.
