My Knife

by The Simpsons rule   Jan 29, 2007

You lie there right in front of me,
Although i don't know why,
Why you choose me as your own,
To stop me living my life as a lie.

There is only you that can put a smile on my face,
When i hold you close to me,
Holding you fills an empty space,
That only i can see.

Nobody knows what pain i am caused,
By most people i my life,
If only you could feel it to,
You would know why i live by the knife.

It takes its place in my skin,
It helps me live my life,
To see the blood leave my body,
Puts a whole new perspective on this life.

Finally i say to you,
What i am doing now,
I'm giving myself what i badly crave,
And thats my friend, pain.
