Flowers of jade

How much more can i take
of living in a black hole
and being eaten away but can't break
how can you not understand,

what it's like to have to pretend
to try to smile every day
and laugh with the rest of your friends
how can you be so blind?

that you can't see the shadows
living in my eyes
that you can't see the evidence,
the ashes, as my soul dies

i'm being consumed
by the flames of your greed
the pain of your love
tearing me apart making me bleed

couldn't you listen?
just once in your life!
so i could put down this burden
and pick up my knife

how i wish i could feel
the kiss of my blade
but i can never give up
my flowers of jade

    i have been ther and i am still in recovery but writing helps people understand you and thats great, great poem keep at it

    the only error I found was this:
    the pain of your love
    tearing me apart making me bleed

    it should be
    tearing me apart,
    making me bleed
