WHEN GOD HAS THE FINAL SAY

by tlangelani   Jan 30, 2007

Lying on his back, staring at the skies
Hoping to relate his troubles to the one right up there
Deep in thought relating the problem to himself
Hoping to find the solution
His brain had enough of it, it just pains with headaches
His heart was struggling in its rebuilding phase
For that girl was not just the girl next door
He really loved her, why would the pining continue indefinitely?
His heart was no longer feeling this beat called life
His legs had given up, they asked for a rest as he continued walking
Without finding the solution in all his previous paths
His blood boiled with anger, it had for years flown in valleys higher than mountain Kilimanjaro and still no solution was in sight
His ears want to stop listening, they have been for all the years of his life
And all the hearing had not helped
At this moment he was hoping for everything to stop at once
The heart to stop beating, the feet to stop in their purposeless walks
And the mind to stop thinking because it was exhausting energy with senseless activity
What was the use of thinking when the mind always led him astray?
Why was blood still forced to flow to a brainless, non-functional medulla, what a waste!
So it was all left to his spirit, that if it became holy and accepted Christ, maybe the pressure will ease up
The lack of solution had ripped his family into division and all his allies
had alienated him
THERE WAS A SOLUTION AFTER ALL IS SAID AND DONE
HE COULD KNEEL DOWN AND CONVERSE WITH HIS CONSTRUCTOR
FOR ALL COMPLICATED MACHINERY NEED USER MANUALS
AT THIS STAGE HE REMEMBERED THAT THE FIRST OUNCE OF ENERGY SPENT SOLVING A PROBLEM SHOULD BE ON PRAYER, A PASTOR ONCE REMARKED
It all suddenly became clearer with God leading the way
For when God has the final say nothing can stand in the way
Death was never an option, life with Christ is always the best solution.
A constant companion to walk you through all lifeâ??s challenges
