Tornado in a Temple

by Sam Richards   Jan 30, 2007

Massaging my temple
Try to calm the ruckus inside
Will the doors fly open,
Let the cataclysmic tornado out?

It’ll rip you all apart
Just like it did locked away
Why in a place of peace
Is there something of mass devastation?

Love started turning
Always a natural disaster
Knowingly a gale kicked up
As time and feeling grew, so did mph

Huge stone idols
Will crumble to this apocalyptic mess
Not dissimilar to
The temple fortress that tried to keep its secrets

Those who taunt, use and falsely love
Will be the first to fall
But some of those are the same
As those I want saved from their impending doom

Disturbing a thought it may be
That your time is running out
But it was you who messed and jumbled
With sacred artefacts that are never touched, you desecrate me

So as a prophet of this temple
To you I strongly advise
To avoid a monster you created
Stop it from spinning somehow
Now, before it destroys me and you
