Runaway Train

by myshiningstar14   Feb 1, 2007

Running on a different track,
seems there's so much I lack.

Mountain bound,
seems more like
I'm valley bound;
Deep within,
as the coldness seeps
into my round,
black wheels,
The silence
becomes deafening,
and there's not
a sound around.

I'm trying to get
to a place,
a place you can't
get to by car,
by boat,
by the wings that
make you float.
To a place that you
can't walk,
fly,
or know by name.

I don't want what you
want for me.
I'm not anything ordinary,
don't you see?
I'm not just a train,
I'm not lame,
I know pain
and I will make
a name.

I'm running deep where
you can't find,
going to so far even
when I come back
you won't recognize me.

**just about life, be your own person dont be who your parents want you to be, thats the road im taking being myself. :) **
