Please Kill Me Slowly

by omen   Feb 2, 2007

Hate, is such a strong word
But here it seems to fit
I hate, how I love you
In every way I'd hate to admit
And I hate the way
In which you seem okay
Without me
And I'm left in this world of grey

Please kill me slowly
Who wants a quick and painless death
I'd rather suffer
Not just suddenly loose my breath
I want to experience pain
So I can see
That what I'm going through
Is not as bad as it could be
So please, please kill me slowly

Some may live
In darkness and in hate
I wish to know
Who bears a worse fate
For my depression
Grows from being alone
I want to find someone
Who will answer the phone

Alone we fail
Together we fall
But together we stand a chance
Of leaving it all
Behind
But alone
I think I just might loose my mind

A very good poem, but you start to lose the flow a bit at the end. 5/5

^^ that's my favorite part, i've felt like that before, it was horrible, but you'll get through it!
anyways... good job with this, the rhymes didn't seem forced, it flowed really well, and most of it had a really good rhythm to it.
    keep it up!
