Lost Your Way

by Nomad512   Feb 2, 2007

You say we're the same age
we're walking along the same page
but at least i can still hope
i've loved and lost, and i feel old

you say you've lost your way
and you can't remember happy days
but i'm telling you to sit and rest
you'll remember days that treated you best

you jump down lines and skip your life
you forget that the joy of life is taking your time
you smudge the ink drying on your day
and complain that you've lost your way

My favorite stanza in this one was this:

”you jump down lines and skip your life
you forget that the joy of life is taking your time
you smudge the ink drying on your day
and complain that you've lost your way”
