Birthday wishes.

Birthday wishes

Birthday wishes,
Sure, every kid wants to stop doing the laundry, or the dishes,
But chores don't bother me so,
The thing I really need to know,
Why... Why did my mother go?

What... What did I do? Why did she think everything was so hard to go through?
I was good, I was sweet. But not at all neat.
All I wanted for my birthday was to have my mother back.

Birthday wishes.

No daddy, don't spend your money on a bike,
It's my mother that I would like,
No daddy, I don't blame you,
There was nothing we could do.

Birthday wishes.

I dream of beautiful beaches,
Soft, sweet kisses,
But it's my mother that I misses.

My skin, pail and cold.
I'm so sad, that my mother's not here to see me grow old,
To give me a shape, to make me a mold,
God,
my daddy just can't embrace me like my mother could hold.

No, I don't want your flowers,
They only live for so many hours,
Dear God, bring her back,
Use all your powers.

Birthday wishes
