I Miss The Old You

by Never URs   Feb 4, 2007

You talked to me,
for the very first time.
Since last year,
when we got in that fight.
When we were talking,
I had high hopes.
That your aspirations,
were in tune with my mopes.
I missed you for,
all that time.
When we were apart,
for that stupid crime.
But now that we're talking,
there's nothing to say.
We've drifted far apart,
and every which way.
I wish you were,
the one I used to know.
When we were best friends,
and were to be our own.
People thought of us as one,
it was always you and me.
We were together,
inseperable with glee.
But ever since I lost you,
I could not take you off my mind.
I want you back the way you were,
so we'll be together,
'till the end of time.
What we argued over was stupid,
I'm sorry for the whole ordeal.
I wish you would forgive me,
and be yourself, yet real.

This was a good poem, but i feel there are words you could have used in this poem to make it seem a bit more emotionally convincing, but still good.
