Someone who understands me
Someone to chat with

And my fears they erase

Who enjoys talking with me
Someone I can tell about my day
And allow me to vent freely

Who will hold my hand
Knowing I just need a lift
And my feelings they understand

Who I can turn to when I'm sad
Someone I can lean on
Who doesn't think my crying is bad

I'm looking for a friend
Someone who will always care
To whom I can share secrets
And other stories to share

I'm looking for a friend
Because he's no longer there
No matter how hard I look
There's no one like him, ANYWHERE.

    *,, aww this poem is cute. The last stanza was a bit sad though. I loved it, great rhyming and the flow was flawless. I loved the whole repetition of "I'm looking for a friend", that really emphasizes the title.
