Fallen Angel

by FallenAngel   Feb 7, 2007

Heart of ice.
Soul of darkness.
Eyes of emptiness.
Blood like fire coursing through her veins.
Unsettling thoughts that wont go away.
A feeling of complete emptiness consumes.
Nerves are shattered to no repair.
Only time can heal the deepened wounds,
that have been cut afresh.
Fragments of a broken heart lie on the,
cold frozen ground.
The lost spirit cries but no one hears a sound.
The once beautiful celestial being with wings of gold,
now is a creature of shadows with wings of darkness.
Left alone in the shadows where no one hears her sobs of despair,
She wonders if all of this is really worth her time and struggles.
Letting the darkness consume her body, mind, and spirit.
Wondering around lost and confused, for the love that had
died and was replaced by hatred and spite.
The Fallen Angel of the Shadows and
The Warrior of the light both different and set in their
Own was found comfort within each others eyes.

One of the main reasons I liked this poem, one is because it is titled with the title of my favorite song, and two, because it is a very well written poem. You keep on writting and I'll keep on reading. I'm putting you on my fav.
