Love at it's Best

by Ryan C   Feb 8, 2007

Little girl starting off on her own,
Calling up her friends on the phone,
Not realizing life's passing her by,
Not a day goes by where she doesn't cry.
And she's still waiting for that perfect boy to call hers,
Across her wrists the razor blade will traverse.
And she doesn't see that he's waiting for her tonight,
Crying everyday praying that love will end their fight,
And she doesn't see that he is dying in his mind,
And she doesn't see how bad he was hurt when left behind.
Little boy rich and fancy and such,
Never an empty wallet would he ever touch,
And he was goth and broken and all together he couldn't live.
But she pulled his life together,
and made him so much better.
And Although nobody else approved,
On the dance floor they meshed so well nobody else could copy their moves
And she doesn't see that long term is a big word,
And he doesn't see she's seeing his world rose colored,
And they never noticed how bad it was gonna end up,
Even though everyone else predicted, wished that it would blow up.
(No no no they didn't see that it would blow up)
Tinted rose his world seemed so perfect to her,
(No no no they just don't see anyone reason to grow up)
And she definately never knew he loved to talk to her,
(No no no they don't see that soon it all would end)
And she didn't see how distance could've distanced her,
(No no no)
No no no one predicted how the plot would soon bend.
All grown up ending up on her own,
Refusing the caller ID on her phone,
Realizing life's already passed by,
Realizing he was the perfect guy
And he doesn't see that she's waiting for him to talk tonight,
Crying everyday praying love will end their fight,
And he doesn't see that she's dying in her mind,
Ever since the day, yea. Ever since the day that she left him behind.
