Heaven

by Ryan C   May 24, 2007

In your eyes is a whole new world,
And no Horizon to seperate sky from earth,
No gravity to hold us down,
And no revolving world to set the sun.

In your eyes is a whole new world,
And no clouds ever block the bright blue sky,
No liars to lesson promises made,
And no teachers or preachers to ruin our own experiences.

In your eyes is a whole new world,
And no sun is bright enough to scare away the other stars,
No coins to lesson the significance of someone else's work,
And no price put on the love of anything.

In your eyes is the past,
And no monkey bars were ever too high for us to reach,
No classrooms were uncomfortable for us to sit in,
And no heartbreaking situations lingered near us.

In your eyes is our childhood,
And no one seemed to care what other people thought,
No teachers ever did anything wrong,
And our parents only spoke in hushed tones.

In your eyes is a schoolyard,
And no clouds ever blocked out the brightest star,
No sun ever set before we were tired,
And no one had to wake up until the sun rose again.

In your eyes is a world of absolution,
And nothing you did was ever taken heavily,
No consequences were too harsh for words,
And it never effected the future.

In your eyes is a world of lies,
And no one ever really lived there,
No child ever actually had innocence,
And no child was ever told the truth.

In your eyes is the biggest lie,
And the biggest promise in the world,
No human believes to have ever been there,
And they don't believe this is heaven.
