Fallen Angel

by Ryan C   Feb 8, 2007

Remnents of the last night,
lying on the ground,
shattered in pieces was a box,
no one could explain how it was found.

in it lie a lost love,
shattered glass and death,
a badly wounded bartender,
and an exit to the left.

There also was a new world,
no fears, no tears and no sound,
a world that wasn't there for them,
a world that could not be found.

No monster could attack their love,
it was immortal,
but love can't always conquer all,
i guess that was the moral.

Screaming pain,
from the bottomless wound,
of the man on the floor,
he would die soon.

What good could come from a lost love,
nothing but a broken mind,
and stone cold heart,
incapable of feeling.

Love, loved,
lost,
everything was there and gone,
in that imaginary box.

Screaming through the air,
painful gusts of wind,
the fallen angel,
has once again sinned.

Her name was amy,
(the world is an empty place,)
and she meant everything to me,
(now shattered like a vase.)

Walking out the door,
the box had left them both behind,
the two lovers lay together and read,
the letter amy signed.

"I've ended your pain for all to see,
(death is the only way to be)
I cured your pain no need to thank me
(Do not Worry)"

One last breath and the lovers died,
in heaven you may see them floating by,
or perhaps they die in agony,
tortured by a man you can't defeat.
