This World.[Sonnet]

by kellie   Feb 8, 2007

Why do we feel the need to exist,
Man temptaions yet to resist,
Some thoughts etched in ivory pages,
Various go through miscellaneous stages,
Let's make it thoughtful a meaningful twist,
Our memories will never be missed,
No mistakes let's live no lies,
Try not to hear your own regretful cries,
New paths to be taken,
No more thought's to be mistaken,
The path aheda of you flames burning bright,
Take off with your plans in the midst of midnight,
Color your words with your paintbrush you obsess,
Change this world, it's empty, colourless.

This was a very good write. Though, I'm pretty sure Sonnets have a particular rhyme scheme and structure to follow (depending on the type of sonnet). But this was a truly amazing poem, regardless. I enjoyed reading it. Keep writing! 5/5

That was a very good poem. Well writen for sure. Seemed like not exactly a good look on the world but ohh soo very truthful.

    I'll give that a 5/5 nice work.
