Dad[Hate]

Dad,

Your the cause of everything,
My hate,
My tears,
My pain.

You make me feel as worthless as can be,
Put downs,
Words,
If only you could see.

You tell me stories full of lies,
I'll change,
I'll stop,
Yet I always seem to ask myself why.

You try to say everything will be okay,
It's fine,
I love you,
You still make me feel this way.

I'm not sure you'll ever realize,
The clues,
The hints,
You will forever lie.

I love you with everything that I have,
I try,
I care,
But I can't remember the last time you made me glad.

I miss the person you used to be,
Loving,
Caring,
Why do you continue to be, the person I do not care to see?

You don't even bother,
I cry,
I yell,
Can't you see?
You're supposed to be my father,
And the lack of that is killing me.
