I Missed You Daddy

by Free Bird   Feb 8, 2007

Back track,
Rewind.
The past is correcting itself,
Put yourself in a different state of mind.

Things that once were over and done,
Have a chance to start over.
Fate made a mistake,
Your world will no longer get colder.

The tears will dry,
And become endless laughs.
But remember it takes time,
These days won't come fast.

We thought we could not touch,
Our souls wouldn't reach.
I am no longer the student,
But the one who will teach.

The things that you once knew,
Forgotten in a confusion.
But I hold the power to your happiness,
Something that I haven't using.

It started from the moment,
You first put me in your arms.
And promised to me,
"Daddy will show you no harm."

It's a force that bonds,
And it's not something from up above.
It's the true reason we're here.
It's called Love.
