She cries herself to sleep
Not knowing what she\'ll lose and what she\'ll keep
She thought she w\'s supposed to
Live happily ever after...
But baby,
Life aint no fairytale

Cause lifes not fair
to those that it should be
and no ones there
to relieve you of your pain
You\'ve got to get off
that merry-go-round... once again.

Her resolutions fall
to the ground
Stuck in one place on an endless
merry-go-round
Her once tender heart
Snatched up by wolves...
But baby,
You got to hold onto your dreams

Cause lifes not fair
to those that it should be
and no ones there
to relieve you of your pain
You\'ve got to get off
that merry-go-round... once again.
